Ignatius Michael Ingles of Ateneo tops 2012 Bar exams

Ignatius Michael Ingles from Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) topped the 2012 Bar exams.

Ingles is named as the 2012 Bar Topnotcher with 85.64 percent followed by fellow Ateneo graduate Catherine Beatrice King Kay (84.72 percent).

Aside from Ingles, five more from ADMU made it to the Top 10 while the University of the Philippines (UP) had four, and Aquinas University had one.

Include in the Top 10 are are Xavier Jesus Romualdo of ADMU (84.1 percent); Maria Graciela Base of UP and Jose Maria Angel Machuca of ADMU (83.99 percent); Patrick Henry Salazar of UP (83.71 percent); Ralph Karlo Barcelona of Aquinas University (83.43 percent); Marvyn Llamas of ADMU (83.29 percent); Carlo Martin Li of ADMU (83.27 percent); and Francis Paolo Tiopanco of UP (83.25 percent).

With 5,343 total number of examinees,  a total of 949 examinees passed the Bar examination which was held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
