Paddington is the latest movie in the country that talks about a Peruvian bear who travels to London in search of a home. The cute bear is living happily together with his Aunt and Uncle in a quiet forest until earthquakes strikes their home, forcing them to seek new home and find the geographer who told them they are welcome if they go to London.
Searching for a geographer namedMontgomery Clyde who teaches them to speak English and creates marmalade became difficult to Paddington. He found himself walking around Paddington Station, asking a lot of passengers if they know the person he’s looking for. In the train station, he met the kindly Brown family who read the label his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you.” This happy family brought him to their house.
At first, the Brown family are really enjoying on his cool actions. Paddington really feel he finds a new home. When he committed mistakes in the house, Henry Brown, the head of the family, planned to bring him to the authority.
Paddington heard the arguments of Mr and Mrs Brown if they will let him to stay or not in the house. He decided to leave Brown family’s house and tried to locate Montgomery Clyde himself. When he finally located the house, he fund out Clyde died many years ago.
Millicent, the daughter of Montgomery Clyde, managed to tranquillise Paddington and prepare him for stuffing, but Mr. Curry betrays her when discovering her true intentions and informs the Brown family of the events. They immediately rush to save Paddington, who is detained in the museum. They manage to rescue him, and Paddington subdues Millicent by throwing a marmalade sandwich at her, which attracts a huge flock of pigeons.
In the end, the Browns adopt Paddington into their family and Millicent is sentenced to community service at a petting zoo. Paddington writes to Aunt Lucy saying he is happy and has found a home at last.
What I like the movie, it talks about family. Paddington was accepted by Brown family no matter where he came from. The concern is always there even the bearid not literally members of the the family. Paddington and the Brown family manage to weave a touching story. It’s a fun movie for the whole family.
Meanwhile, actor Xian Lim lends voice to Paddington Bear in PH movie release.
Directed by Paul King, Paddington is now showing in all cinemas in the Philippines.
