To start the year of the water dragon, Sumosam launched its newest branch last 21 January 2012 at Granada Street., Brgy. Valencia (along Gilmore), Quezon City.
Similar to other branches, Sumosam Gilmore offers vast selection of high quality Japanese cuisines like sushi, tempura, tonkatsu, gyudon, ramen teppan, donburi, grilled seafoods and steaks and a lot of variety rolls.
The interior and exterior design of the restaurant really impressed PinoyManila. Every customers will surely feel relax on its comfortable couches and perfectly ambient atmosphere. The use of wooden planks, textured paints and lighting are really awesome. Photos on wall frame will hook you up that tells story about Sumosam.
Pinoymanila also loves the menu book. It’s just like a story book. On the first and second page of the menu tells the legend of Sumusam- and that’s really cute.
For a unique taste of Japanese dishes that caters all taste buds, Sumosam offers various of sashimi and sushi dishes which include their popular spider and dynamite rolls; followed with a delicate bowl of Hamachi jaw and head soup. If you are seafood lovers, try the seafood teppan platter, salmon tartar fry, grilled unagi and seafood yakisoba. For vegetarian out there, Sumusam’s tofu steak and vegetable kikiage are a must-try. Don’t forget to try their ‘best of both worlds’- a big bowl with ice cream, chocolate cookies, almonds, maraschino cherries and whipped cream. All the food are really yummy!
Pinoymanila also tried the reasonably priced Yokuzuna bento boxes- and it’s really huge servings of donburis. It includes gyudon, katsudon, yakiniku and tonkatsu torikatsu curry. This is really “SULIT.”
For late night guests, Sumusam has instant store promotions on wines, scotch, sake and imported beers for a chill out delight at night.
