Philippines’ Smart Gilas defeated Syria 75-52 in the second round of the 26th FIBA Asia basketball championship in Wuhan, China on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.

During the 1st quarter, the fight between Philippines and Syria was very intense. It was really a close fight. On the 2nd quarter, the Syrians widened their lead with a score 23-32.  Philippines started to be strong  and get the court in the third quarter and continued to the last quarter.

Smart Gilas Pilipinas won over Syria 75-52.
